VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Haden Blackman (W) Rick Leonardi (P) Dan Green (I) Wes Dzioba (C) Tsuneo Sanda (Cover) Haunted by recurring visions of what his life with Padmé might have been like if he had not succumbed to the dark side, and guided by the Ghost Nebula's mysterious priestess, Vader and his troops become embroiled in a disastrous battle on a tar-pit world. Worse, the hard-fought battle brings Vader no closer to locating Moff Tarkin's missing son-but it does put him in the deadly sights of a traitor! o The Dark Lord in action! o Written by The Force Unleashed's Haden Blackman! Date Available: 04/06/2011 BONUS REVIEW by Gary Owens After a successful one-shot last year, Dark Horse is bringing out one of their heaviest guns, Darth Vader. It’s relatively rare that a villain is highlighted like this one, but Star Wars plays well to that scenario, and nobody does it better then Darth. He’s on a quest, here, as he so often is, this time for a missing Admiral. The worlds are new, the battles fierce, and we get the bitterly vicious Darth that we know and love. Star Wars comics are best when they have intrigue, and this one has that, no doubt. 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
