Would you like to see Japanese horror brought to American audiences through a literal fish eye lens?

It turns out you do! (Even if it has Spawn in it.) Jason Sean Alexander (Frostbite, Empty Zone) takes over art duties on this story set in Japan. New writer Darragh Savage seems to know his way around a good Japanese ghost story- horrible things happen, they happen with no explanation for why they happen, and with no defined parameters for what is occurring, the chances for stopping the atrocities are greatly reduced because you're just guessing.

It looks great, it reads well, it has disconcerting concepts and imagery...and Spawn. I can live with that last one. I'm really curious to see how it goes over with regular readers of this title.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
