Joe Casey's story continues to fascinate and Piotr Kowalski's art is spot on for this type of genre book. But I fear that some of the plot standards may have been lowered for the sake of getting some good ole fashion nudity into the book. Although dialog and placement of the main characters walking through the community room is a vital part of the story, would it not have been more meaningful if the participants would have been shrouded? Although faceless in most cases, the people in the backround seem to be naked with their best bits lit for the sake of living up to the book's title. And as for Simon's gift, if the people who employed her knew what type of girl he liked (Blonde, etc) and could get her into his apartment without a problem (big money CEO type guy's got to have some security especially as an ex-superhero.) and have him private cell number, they would have been a little more creative than just having a naked woman standing in his living room? By the profile so far presented by Casey, it seems that if they really wanted to catch his attention she would have been sent up with some sort of Fredrick's version of a super-heroine outfit and been waiting on a back lit by the moon balcany. Mystery, the thrill of the chase, the potential for danger ... these are the things that get Simon Cooke's blood pumping. I just hope we don't get off track for the sake of a little flesh. Nothing wrong with a little flesh unless it skewers a good story.
