BONUS REVIEW by John Doc Schaefer

Ever since her first appearance in Vampirella Magazine #30 (1974) Pantha has always been an wonderful secondary character. And whether you are a purist and believe her to be an alien shapeshifter or a modern believer in Egyptian goddesses. Pantha has always done wonderfully playing second banana to cohort in crime, Vampirella. Dynamite's revisitation of the character certainly captures much of the modern flavor of previous incarnations. The storyline is solid and helpful flashbacks give interesting insight into Pantha's past. The only complaint I really have is that Pantha's title seems to be based on her involvement in Dynamite's crossover event Prophecy. With Pendragon literally magically kidnapping Pantha from her first storyline. Hopefully, we'll get back into Pantha's story quickly.
