 The New Mutants are clearly going to be very much like Star Trek films, in that some (Hickman/Reis) issues are going to be great while the other issues will read as if written and directed by William Shatner. If you're a completist and feel the need to read every single issue in a run, well, you'll be fun to watch at least. Highly recommended for fans of Magiks, Moonstars, and 1983.
