To prevent the collision of our universe with another, the Illuminati, led by the Black Panther, must assemble NOW! It's the most powerful and brilliant team in the Marvel Universe--The Black Panther, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Black Bolt, Mister Fantastic, Namor the Sub-Mariner and The Beast--against an infinite legion of parallel realities.
Date Available: 01/02/2013
BONUS REVIEW by John "Doc" Schaefer

Another Marvel Now New #1 issue hits the stands. And this time we get to revisit the (sarcasism) wonderful times of the Illuminati. Reed Richards (isn't he dying in a cosmic RV over in the new Fantastic Four?), Captain America (isn't he off in some Mad Max type dimension over in the new Captain America book? Good thing everyone's so focased on continuity over at Marvel.) So why not a 2 or a 3? Because finally, a Marvel Now! storyline shows some promise. The Black Panther returns to us as the strong character he can be. And he hates the men he has to work with but a new and interesting menace is on the rise. This book has potential, lets hope Hickman and Epting can keep it up.

I give it 6 out of 10 Grahams
