Moon Knight #1 (2016)

$39.99
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Jeff Lemire
(A/CA) Greg Smallwood
THE BOOK YOU'D BE INSANE TO MISS! Marc Spector (a.k.a. Moon Knight/Jake Lockley/Steven Grant) has been fighting criminals and keeping New York City safe for years… or has he? When he wakes up in an insane asylum with no powers and a lifetime's worth of medical records, his whole identity (indentities) are called into question. Something is wrong, but is that something Marc Spector himself? Jeff Lemire (EXTRAORDINARY X-MEN) and rising star Greg Smallwood are calling everything you know about Moon Knight into question. Rated T+
Date Available: 04/13/2016
BONUS REVIEW by Shawn

Although not very big on the action, this first issue holds a whole lot of promise for longtime fans of the character. If you're new to the title however, you may end up as confused as Moon Knight himself. This is not done-in-one material. This current Moon Knight run, the latest of many, seems totally fresh while simultaneously providing as much fan service as any Galactica reboot not featuring 1980 in the title. Highly recommended for fans of multiple personality disorders, violent street level justice, Egyptian mythology, and multiple personality disorders.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
