The lands between the coasts are vast, slow to change, and full of hidden magics. Mistakes have been made, and in this NEW ONGOING SERIES, an unwitting adventurer searches for answers to quell a coming storm that knows his name. From author SKOTTIE YOUNG (I HATE FAIRYLAND, Deadpool) and artist JORGE CORONA (NO. 1 WITH A BULLET, Feathers, Big Trouble in Little China: Old Man Jack) comes the tale of Abel, a young boy who must navigate an old land in order to reconcile his family's history.

BONUS REVIEW by Shawn

Skottie Young, he of the whimsical covers, is the writer of this intriguing ongoing series. Based on this issue, he's better with words than he is with a pencil. The art (not Skottie) is the only thing that keeps this from being a festival of dread. The book excels at reproducing the childhood feeling that you would have when a huge thunderstorm was coming, and the skies turned black as night. Highly recommended for fans of horror/fantasy, and Ylvis. Speaking of black, sale, sale, friday, yadda, yadda...

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
