BONUS REVIEW by GARY OWENS

Deep purple, on a cover, does it. Always gets my attention. Then there was Mickey, Goofy, and Donald in sorcerer clothes, and I had to look. I love the older Mickey cartoons, the ones that actually had Mickey facing a fearsome foe four times his size, with Mickey armed only with his wits and wide smile. Same here, as his arch-enemy Pete (peg-legged and magical here) faces off against sorcerer Mickey to secure a magical gem, and anyone who has seen Fantasia knows Mickey is the tiny apprentice. Tense, exciting, and only Part I, a definite buy for those who love seeing Mickey in a pointy hat.
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
