LODK is back. The first series, starting in 1989, had frightening visuals and stories that kept me awake at nights, like the Dark Knight movies do. Writers and artists would pop-in, do a story of 1-several issues, and leave. The setting and timing of the stories varied, crossing Batman's lifespan, but all with the angle of a great story. This issue has 3 short clips, each setting their own mark, and each pushing the boundaries of the core Batman characters into new, unseen areas. A big fan of the original LODK, I loved this one, and it's why I became flexible about remolding past characters. LODK proved they can all be brought back to some standard, effortlessly, if needed...but, man, the ride can be a knockout. Enjoy.

I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
