Spinning out of JUSTICE LEAGUE: NO JUSTICE! When a cosmic menace threatens worlds beyond our own in the Ghost Sector, it falls to a new Justice League team to answer the call to battle! Cyborg, Starfire, Green Lantern Jessica Cruz and an out-of-his-element Azrael head to deep space inside a commandeered Brainiac Skull Ship. But as these wildcard teammates try to stop Despero from slave-trading Coluan refugees, they discover something that nothing in the universe could have prepared them for: Darkseid...who says he's there to help?!

BONUS REVIEW by Shawn

I don't think I've enjoyed a Team book debut this much since the New Teen Titans from Wolfman and Perez. It's a very odd group, but it weirdly comes together in a fish man, cape man, shiny man, Hulky way. It also has terrific art from Sejic, whose name I can barely type, let alone pronounce. Thrill to the artistic acrobatics of his attempting to redesign Darkseid in order to make his less...Thanosy. Highly recommended for anyone who thinks M.M.M. stands for Make Mine Metal, lapsed fans of Azrael, and space tree huggers.

I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
