Story by ROBERT KIRKMAN Art RYAN OTTLEY, CORY WALKER & FCO PLASCENCIA Cover RYAN OTTLEY & FCO PLASCENCIA THE VILTRUMITE WAR CONTINUES! Invincible and the Coalition of planets bring the war to Planet Viltrum! All bets are off as the Coalition forces try to fight their way into the Viltrumite Empire’s stronghold. Lives are lost, and a turning point in the war is reached. This issue features as special, over-sized main story and an extra special Science Dog back-up story by ROBERT KIRKMAN and CORY WALKER. Date Available: 11/03/2010 BONUS REVIEW by JOHN ROBINSON The Viltrumite Wart reaches a tipping point, and it's the usual amount of excellence you expect from Invincible. The down side is that your double sized issue, costing you $5.99 has a backup and a bunch of pin-ups you don't want. At least the lead story was longer than usual, but I'd rather have paid $3.99 for that with no backups, but it is the only downside to an excellent Anniversary issue, that would have gotten 10 out of 10 if not for the price & unnecessary content. I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
