In a future where humans have gone extinct, the robots we made to make our lives easier are still around. Some bots continue to carry out their primary function, but others don’t have much of a purpose without any humans around. That’s the boat our dashing protagonist, animatronic Abraham Lincoln, finds himself in. Without human beings to educate on the importance of equality and the nature of man, good ol Abe is reduced to being a glorified street preacher who is constantly accosted by the other robots on their way to work. Tired of being walked on, Abe decides to see if humans really are extinct. With the help of his best friend (a city bus), Abe tries to find a way out of the walled city that keeps the robots safe from the horrors of the nuclear wastes, and maybe find some real life humans. Part Wall-E, part Blade Runner, all awesome! If Destruction Be Our Lot is a smash hit out of the gate that I’m excited to see progress!
