Boy genius Amadeus Cho pulled together a team of Renegades to side with his big green hero during "World War Hulk" -- but what will happen to his faith in the Hulk's heroism when he discovers the horrors lurking beneath Madison Square Garden? The Hulk takes center stage with a terrifying confrontation and a stunning revelation that lays bare the central question of whether the Hulk is a hero -- or a monster.
"Now THIS is more like it. After a lame, wheel-spinning fill-in last time, we’re back in the meat of the story as The Renegades try to team-up with the Hulk in the midst of the events of World War Hulk #3. Greg Pak and his Planet Hulk partner Carlos Pagulayan craft a perfect companion piece to Pak’s main World War Hulk story. The necessary but unfortunate emphasis on the Renegades team of Hercules, Angel, Namora and Amadeus Cho keeps this from greatness, though. It’s an awesome read, but only as a tie-in to WWH. On its own? Not so much. Oh, but bonus points for a cool call-back to the formation of the Warbound from Planet Hulk."
