 A pinch of Sci-Fi, a cup of some of my favorite characters, and a small sized group offers a good recipe for success with this latest bunch of the galaxy clan. A good recipe, however, doesn't guarantee a great product...example one is the team-up with Iron Man, shown on the cover, and here for reasons unknown except that Marvel may not believe you will buy this book without a huge movie character in it. Also the team chemistry needs members in conflict with each other, like the FF (Ben and Johnny), the Avengers, and the X-men. Issue #5, I hear, is supposed to intro a Neil Gaiman character from Spawn. We will see if it is worth the money, or just a gimmick. I hope this book succeeds, since I like Groot and Rocket Raccoon, but the cooking has just started... I give it 5 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
