 Winner winner chicken dinner!!!! For my money, this is easily the best resolution for a Bendis event book. Why? Because: 1. There IS an end, and the end takes place on the page instead of between issues, and 2. What DOES happen on the page both radically changes AND justifies bringing our 'lil X-Men to the future in the first place. Everything you've liked or loved about 'The Trial of Jean Grey' plays consistently here with deft dialogue leading to memorable character moments for just about everyone here, and strong artwork from both Sara Pichelli and David Marquez with the able assist. Be sure to find Bobby, Rocket, and Groot on pages 14 and 15 if you want your week made. What could have been rote and repetitive is instead something surprising, engaging, and in the end, 'All New'.
