I always love a Free Comic Book Day title that is a two-in-one. I’ve never played Animal Crossing, but this issue is a very amusing story of the three main characters thinking they are going to a trip at a luxury island resort, but it’s actually a deserted island, with none of the amenities they thought they were going to enjoy. What a bummer! But, they still find a way to enjoy themselves, even without all the luxury. What fun! But what I really came for is the back-up story featuring everybody’s favorite pink blob, Kirby! Featuring a short story from Kirby’s Manga Mania, I just love seeing Kirby’s antics, and even in black and white, it’s just a ball of fun! Definitely a fun one to grab on FCBD, whether you’re an actual kid, or a kid at heart like me!
