VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Jeff Lemire (A/CA) Dustin Nguyen
One young robot's struggle to stay alive in a universe where all androids have been outlawed and bounty hunters lurk on every planet. A rip-roaring and heart-felt cosmic odyssey that pits humanity against machine, and world against world, to create a sprawling space opera from the creators of Trillium, Sweet Tooth, and Little Gotham. Extra-sized first issue. 30 story pages for only $2.99!
Date Available: 03/04/2015
BONUS REVIEW by Brad Parkkonen

The beginning of this book feels like yet another universe-building book that feels like it will force the reader to remember a ton of minute details, but quickly after the universal drama, the story gets back to being a very personal small-scope book. Lemire does an excellent job in this book - like in many of his other works - of focusing a lot on his characters and giving the book a very personal feel. Nguyen's watercolor art is a great compliment to Lemire's storytelling that the book ends quicker than you realize... or would want. I cannot wait for the next issue to see how this unique story unfolds.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
