 How deep can you go down the rabbit hole? Infinitely, if you believe hard enough. That's the premise behind James Tynion and Martin Simmonds Department of Truth. Every crazy conspiracy entertained in the worst corners of the internet can be manifested into reality, if people can be convinced to believe. This issue's super fun dive is into school shootings, so be ready for a holiday full of laughs. Martin Simmond's artwork looks like a logical extension of Bill Sienkiewicz's best work from the 80's. He's not aping him, he's gone off just to the left or just to the right of that work, depending on the page. It's just excellent, and anyone with a level head should be reading it. If you're overly open to suggestion, maybe Sonic would be better. I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
