Bred on hate, fear, and anger…steeped in the ways of darkness…and trained to kill. Darth Maul's time as apprentice to Darth Sidious has long been cloaked in shadows, but at last we will reveal his tale of revenge. From writer Cullen Bunn (DEADPOOL KILLS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE, WOLVERINE) and artist Luke Ross (STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, HERCULES) comes a tale of rage unleashed as Darth Maul prepares for his first encounter with the Jedi. Rated T

BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

So, I'm 'the Star Wars' guy. I'm the one who's going to love everything Star Wars just because it has Star Wars slapped on it. I like Phantom Menace. There should have been more political content. I'm here to convince you to read Darth Maul.

It's ok. Luke Ross has some pages that look nicer than his usual stuff. His usual stuff comes immediately after those pages. Jordie Bellaire's coloring is usually spot on, but there are some 'interesting' choices in space. There are Nemoidians, but they end up like most Nemoidians do.

That's what I want. More Trade Federation. Wait until Marvel gets my pitch for 'Ted Gunray'. Follow Nute Gunray's brother Ted as he lives the life of a chartered accountant seeking revenge for the death of his brother through a scam to collect 1/100000000th of a republic credit every time the senate makes a purchase. At last, Ted will reveal himself to the Jedi. At last, Ted shall have his revenge.

I give it 6 out of 10 Grahams
