 Historically speaking, rapidly reprinting the first few issues of a series in an affordable prestige format is a sign said series has an excellent chance at becoming an "evergreen" title. The reprint of Dark Knights of Steel #1-3 is on the rack right now for $6.99. In fact in terms of Elseworlds-esque stories, I think this is the next Kingdom Come or Superman Red Son, assuming the back half is as good as the front. So if you're still on the fence, it'll only cost you seven bucks to get off, and that's a bargain. Highly recommended for anybody who knows who Superman and Batman are, people that like to read comic books, and anybody with at least one good eye, one working finger, and a light source.
