BONUS REVIEW by John Robinson

Just wanted to take a second to point out how tight this Alex Ross cover is. There's no denying Alex is a spectacular artist, and an asset to the comic book industry, but a bunch of his work has been looking WASHED OUT to me. Almost like I'm seeing the work 80% done, and then it gets turned in. The darkest darks, never added, everything just blurring together. But this cover, man is it tight. From the bright white spotlight on cap to the extreme darks - just perfectly balanced. Hope I see him trying more of this in the future. Still haven't read this issue, though I hear it's a good one, just couldn't pass up the chance to compliment Ross on a job well done.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
