Reviews

There is nothing that gets the imagination flowing than a World War II secret society with some familiar faces in it. Cullen Bunn manages to peak our interests with his tale of the Covenant. Will Conrad manages to keep the art both classic world war II as well as creepy. The only thing that holds this issue back is the mystery that surrounds the comic itself. Why is this a point one issue? Why does Marvel even need point one issues? And the biggest mystery of all why set up what is most likely a future story line when the book is hitting it's final issue in like 2 monthes? Or maybe this tale leads into the Sub-Mariner's quest to save his mother which will rewrite history creating a new 5 year old alternate reality where everyone has high collared costumes? Makes you conspiracy theorist say Hmmmm?
