After Nox's botched mission in the previous issue, she finds herself up against the wall to make amends - somewhat literally as she is now under attack from the deadly fixer Calaveras! She is starting to suspect her original assignment was a lot more dangerous than she realized. Meanwhile, meteorologist Kelvin Frost's panic over the competition from the other weathermen in town takes a turn as his crazy plan to attend a Beauty party comes to fruition.
