Astro City #4 $3.99 Quantity
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
(W) Kurt Busiek (A) Brent Eric Anderson (CA) Alex Ross Mattie Sullivan isn't a super hero or a villain-she uses her telekinetic powers to do special effects for movies and television. But when she's forcibly 'recruited' by a new criminal mastermind, Mattie faces a choice: Will she fight, or will she continue to stay on the sidelines? A look into the lives of super humans who've taken different paths, and how they manage. Date Available: 09/11/2013
BONUS REVIEW by John "Doc" Schaefer
Again the wonderful folks at Vertigo bring us a tale involving the little people of the Astro City universe. The adventures of Martha and her friends is just delightful. And the message that just because I have powers doesn't mean I want to fight is inspirational. Plus the Laugh-In reference was inspired. Again I wonder while other titles can't learn a thing or two from this gem. I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
