Written by MARK WAID Pencils & Cover by MARCOS MARTIN
Mark Waid (FANTASTIC FOUR, KINGDOM COME) joins the Spider-team with fan favorite Marcos Martin to bring you part one of this two-part blockbuster! Random earthquakes don’t happen in New York – trust us, we live here. So how did one trap Spidey and a subway car full of New Yorkers underground? But there’s more to these passengers than meets the eye as a high powered mob trial’s verdict is in their hands. And one of them has a crucial connection to Pete’s old boss, J. Jonah Jameson!
Date Available: 11/19/2008
BONUS REVIEW by ANDY COLE

LOVED IT. Mark Waid gets Spider-Man. If you dropped Amazing because there's not JOHN ROMITA JR or VENOM, then you have made a foolish mistake. Waid totally gets the Spider-Man mythos and it's a blast to read, plus Marcos Martin (Batgirl Year One) makes reading Spidey a joy. Absolutely your loss if you enjoy Spider-Man and you don't pick up this run. It's dead on classic Spidey fun!
I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams
