 One of the best Guardians runs ever continues with this issue featuring the weaponized nostalgia of...a roster change! Yep, one of comics tried and true tropes is on full whimsical display here, deftly written by Duggan with art by Reis that has some similarities to New Mutants era Bill Sienkiewicz. To me, this title is the perfect synthesis of the Marvel cinematic approach and the funny books side of the equation. Not many basic super hero books can achieve the balance of lighthearted fun and gravitas, albeit of the 2 dimensional variety, that this book has. It's so good I predict that this run will last AT LEAST another 136 issues. I give it 8 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
