New Ongoing Series! 'Escape From Riverdale.' This is how the end of the world begins! Harvey Award-winning writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Archie Meets Glee) and Eisner-winning artist Francesco Francavilla (Batman) take Archie and the gang where they've never been before - to the grave and back! A horrific accident sets off a series of grim events and Sabrina the Teenage Witch must try to repair the unspeakable evil her spell has unleashed. Gasp in horror as Riverdale faces an impending zombie Arch-pocalypse in this brand-new, spine-tingling ongoing series - but be warned, kiddies, this one's not for the faint of heart!

BONUS REVIEW by John "Doc" Schaefer

This one is a real puzzler. After dealing with such conscious raising issues as homosexuality, interracial marriage, and cancer, it seems odd that we not get just a storyline but an entire new title. I mean we can't keep Betty, Veronica, or Jughead comics on a regular schedule but we can throw out a brand new title like that? And it's not like it wasn't inevitable that the Riverdale gang would have a run in with zombies. And thanks to a certain black and white independent title, the trend continues. So I immediately want to hate this book. But the truth is I can't. Oh sure, the storyline is straight out of a Steven King book, but there is a certain charm that Aguirre-Sacasa brings out. And it goes without saying that Francavilla's art is certainly creepy enough.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
