(W) Brian Michael Bendis (A/CA) John Romita, Klaus Janson The city of Metropolis has been rocked by Luthor's latest attack and the drama surrounding Superman's truth, and that gives the invisible mafia a new foothold to change the City of Tomorrow forever. Meanwhile, the Daily Planet is under siege! The fallout from Superman: Villains continues as Clark Kent steps out into the world as a reporter for the first time. Date Available: 08/26/2020
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy
While JR JR's art remains a panel to panel up and down remembrance of what was, Action Comics is consistently as or more enjoyable as any Superman that Bendis is writing. Things with Marisol Leone, the Red Cloud, the FBI, Daily Planet staff, and the entire Superman family all come to a head. Leone has decided that she'll be the one to destroy Superman once and for all, and flicks the first domino in that chain. If you're even a tiny fan of comics that have a bit of ground level in them to offset the super heroics, Action has material you're going to enjoy in every issue. I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
