WITHOUT THE TRICK ARROWS…WITHOUT THE MONEY…WITHOUT MERCY…WHAT'S LEFT IS THE ABSOLUTE HUNTER! A serial killer is slaughtering corrupt billionaires. The only clue to his identity is the mysterious green arrows sticking out of his victims' corpses. Executive protection specialist Dinah Lance, a.k.a. Absolute Black Canary, is one of the people tasked to uncover this murderer's identity as she investigates her suspects...all familiar DC archers uniquely linked to a recently murdered Oliver Queen. I Know What You Did Last Summer for billionaires, Absolute Green Arrow reimagines the Emerald Archer's mythos into a dangerous, urban horror murder-mystery by Eisner winners Pornsak Pichetshote (Dead Boy Detectives, Infidel) and Rafael Albuquerque (Detective Comics, American Vampire).

I always knew of Green Arrow, he was in the first issue of JLA I ever bought. He was on the Super Friends. I had seen the MEGO action figure. I owned the MATTEL SUPER POWERS one... Then I got around to reading the underrated Longbow Hunters #1-3, thanks Mr. Robinson. And within days was collecting the on-going Green Arrow. I did not stay long but returned when Ollie was replaced by his son and was teaming up with Kyle. Yes that Kyle, he's better than Hal, deal with it. Then some guy named Kevin Smith brought my guy Phil Hester into the limelight with his take on the Emerald Archer. And that book was great, so so great. But as happens writers and artists come and go and I also left. I tried Nu52 Green Arrow, not for me. I also tired ARROW tv. Green Batman was OK, but should have been blue and grey... Oh well. I tried it again here and there (Rebirth) and no matter the hype or critical acclaim, Ollie never really spoke to me again. Well Absolute Evil #1 shocked me because days before they announced Green Arrow was cancelled and that there would be seventh Absolute title... Green Arrow? Well now here I am telling Absolute Green Arrow is closer to Absolute Batman, and we probably underordered it because no one ever pre-orders anything unless it is a 90s looking Robert Kirkman book. Inside jokes are fun? Yeah? No. Oh. Well buy this book. It is great. It 100% is the Absolute Horror title we all needed. What is it about? Well it looks like Zombie Slasher Green Arrow is violently torturing and murdering the bad rich guys... Imagine Jason or Michael murdering your least favorite corporate scumbag... Sound good to you? Then hope we still have copies... Or wait 3 or 4 weeks for the second printing. Slice ya laters!
