Too bad that, in classic ‘Lost’-style storytelling, a very pertinent question regarding the nebulous motives of a major character is greeted with ‘we don’t have time for this’, which is easily translated into ‘please buy the next three issues and/or the new Cable ongoing for answers’. Bad form. Still, the pace is pretty relentless as we near the finish line, I suppose certain omissions can be overlooked when the full story works so well."
