The story of the demolition of the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm is a masterpiece of characterization and brilliant storytelling. I fully admit that I got chocked up reading it and felt a need to rub my eye. But what's done is done. As Marcie advises Peppermint Patty, "you cant fight city hall, sir." So I accept the loss of this title but I do so lodging a formal protest. Snoopy, I stand beside you handcuffed to the bulldozer that is progress.
