Justice League #22 (2011) has been added to your cart.
Crossover events make me wary. Why must I collect disparate books to get a complete story? I was ready two issues ago to say goodbye to the inconsistent Justice League Dark! Justice League #22, however, is recommended to comics readers that may be on the fence.
#22 sets the stage for an interesting collision of characters facing a mystical disturbance. The story's unusual structure stands out, and raises future expectations for experimentation in interpreting a massive super-hero conflict. Reis's art is energetic and elevates many captivating moments. Superman is put into a drastic conflict I'd never predict. Madame Xanadu and Shazam are surprise standouts. Trinity War may not be Kingdom Come, but this is a promising epic!
