Blue Lock Full Color Selection Volume 1 featuring Yoichi Isagi drops you right into the middle of an intense soccer match. Japan is aiming to develop the best strikers in the world to compete on the global stage, and Blue Lock is the program designed to make that happen. It puts talented players into high intensity matches that push them to their limits in order to unlock their full potential.
This issue does a great job of showing just how intense both the matches and the program really are. If anyone is looking for a fun, action packed sports manga, Blue Lock is absolutely perfect.
Manga is typically presented in black and white, but this FCBD version is in full color. It really adds to the emotion, intensity, and overall story. The colors alone make it worth picking up for any Blue Lockfan.

Before reading Blue Lock, I wasn’t very knowledgeable about soccer, and it wasn’t a sport that interested me much. But as you follow Yoichi’s growth as both a striker and a character, I found myself starting to enjoy the sport as well.

I would highly recommend Blue Lock to anyone looking to scratch their soccer itch or anyone wanting an action-packed manga full of vibrant, highly competitive characters.
