BONUS REVIEW by TOM GRONKOWSKI
The last two arcs of Detective Comics have been some of the greatest
consistent monthly comics to hit the shelves in years. It’s the best
work of JH Williams’s career, once again showcasing his skill as the
most eloquent style chameleon in the biz. This final issue was just as
good as the whole ride, a fairly rare feat these days. In the last three
issues, Rucka and Williams have shown us the formative years of Kate
Kane, showing us why she’s the coolest new character of the year. If
you missed out, buy these trades or you’re missing out.
