A NEW SERIES BY DONNY CATES & RYAN STEGMAN! Still a Lethal Protector of the innocents in New York, this never-before-seen threat could force Venom to relinquish everything it holds dear - including Eddie Brock! Join two of the hottest creators in comics today, Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman, for a VENOM adventure a thousand years in the making! Rated T+
Date Available: 05/09/2018
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Donnie Cates has been a spectacular addition to Marvel.

Venom (unless written by David Micheline and fighting Spider-Man) has not.

Put 'em together and what have you got? Drippity Boppity....BOO! Another Donnie Cates book worth reading. Ryan Stegman's art is a solid fit for this title, moody and detailed, and none too realistic. There's a mystery. The Venom symbiote is having nightmares. His nightmares come to life. Good for them. If I have a complaint, and I'm whiny so I do, its that this is a tame start for the writer who made Loki the sorcerer supreme and had Thanos fight against himself in a battle to the death for Death.

It is a Venom book worth reading though. Small victories.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
