Sometimes a cover can sell a comic.
I haven't read the past 23 issues of Venom, I'm not a Venom guy, but I do like most Doctor Doom stories and that was a killer cover, so I gave it a shot.
I don't know what's going on with Eddie Brock and Carnage and all the new incarnations but I figured out enough from the story to follow what was going on (Well done Al Ewing).
Great art for a Marvel Comic which seems to put little to no emphasis nowadays on hiring professional artists, Sergio Dávila is solid with some strong storytelling chops. Tons of Doctor Doom banter fun and I'll be back for the next issue!
You also got a bonus one page bit from Hickmans forthcoming GODS comic, what can I tell you about a one page preview? Um, there's not enough there to form an opinion.
