"Oh, geez. It’s just Walking Dead with superheroes. Why didn’t I realize that until now? The (endlessly) continuing story of the Marvel Zombies takes a backseat for most of this issue, as we get reacquainted with the human survivors on Earth, now 40 years after the Zombies left. There’s some fun reversals in certain characters attitudes, as well as some funny asides with the Zombies’ cosmic action, but the big shocks don’t, and the pacing too closely resembles the recent slowness of Walking Dead. It’s still good, but not the greatness of the original."
