Divided States Of Hysteria #6,
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy
(W/A/CA) Howard Chaykin
The most despised man in America finds himself at the crossroads of faith, of redemption, and of love...as Frank Villa is virtually alone in one last desperate attempt to countermand history repeating itself in its march to annihilation. I know just how he feels.

A fairly standard ending hit home with the subtlety of a sledge hammer. Served with an enraging polemic by Howard Chaykin, sure to make everyone who is 'sided' furious. Most tools for this sort of work are finesse pieces, like lock picks. Chaykin doesn't care, and is willing to bludgeon the world in the process.
Not nearly worth the controversy is caused, not nearly as divisive as it was taken to be, and not nearly inventive enough to be classic Chaykin. Start prepping now to hear the complaints about his Divided States 2 for even existing, coming soon from Image.
I give it 5 out of 10 Grahams
