BONUS REVIEW by Kevin Healy

Any other book at any other time, this would seem good enough to recommend highly. This book, this version of Darth Vader, comes after what is pretty much the most universally acclaimed Star Wars comic of all time, Kieron Gillen's Darth Vader. Charles Soule is a good writer, at times great (see Lando), but he's no Kieron Gillen. Guiseppe Camuncoli can be a great artist (see Green Valley) but his work here feels rushed, less invested, and in regards to the Emperor downright lazy or just plain wrong. He's no Salvador Larocca. That should tell you what you need to know about this book. It's no Darth Vader. Is that good enough for you?

I give it 6 out of 10 Grahams
