BONUS REVIEW by PASTOR SAM

It took reading this book twice to find the words to accurately describe this story. At the end of it all, all I could come up with is: Excellent. Waid has crafted a story that places the players meaningfully in harm’s way and brings out the best aspects of the character of Daredevil. He managed to do this while simply making the antagonist an enemy that we all face from time to time – the overwhelming urge to quit. If you have ever been in a tense situation where you were responsible for others and were not sure what step to take next, this is for you. The art breathtakingly gives life to Matt’s radar sense while the white washed panels filled with snow give you a chill as you read. This is the perfect jumping on point before the Spider-man crossover next month. Speaking of the Spee-ider-man, don’t miss DD’s off handed comment about the wall crawler. I’m probably still laughing as you read this.
