Ghost Rider #20 (2006)

$4.00
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written By Jason Aaron Art By Roland Boschi Cover By Marko Djurdjevic
HEAVEN BOUND, HELL TO PAY, PART ONE Following the startling revelations of the previous arc, writer Jason Aaron (WOLVERINE, Scalped) and artist Roland Boschi take Ghost Rider down a blazing new road! Over the years, Johnny Blaze has lost everything to the curse of the Ghost Rider -- his family, his life, even his soul. But now, at long last, Johnny finally knows who's responsible for turning him into a flame-headed horror-show on wheels, and he's hitting the road, looking for vengeance and answers…but mostly just vengeance.

"Man, is it Jason Aaron week at Marvel or something? Marvel’s latest snapped-up wunderkind gets ANOTHER big launch, taking the reins on Ghost Rider. For you fans of previous writer Daniel Way’s run, rest assured that Aaron doesn’t deviate much from the ‘Ghost Rider versus demons and angels’ plot laid out by Way. But, as much as I did enjoy Way’s run, I kind of wish that Aaron had made some more changes than just adding a new, slightly ‘wacky’ tone to a new group of adversaries. This is only his first issue, so it’s not really too fair to criticize yet, but I’m hoping this book changes gears soon, before it runs out of gas. See what I did there?"
