"I really dig the guest-artist on this, Fernando Pasarin. He’s got a lot of different stylistic influences, ones you don’t see together a whole lot. After reading through the whole issue, I caught bits of Lee Bermejo (the cape work), JG Jones (the linework on the faces), Chris Batista and Kevin Maguire (the ‘acting’ on the facial expressions). I don’t know how much of it is inker Richard Friend, but the fundamentals of the art alone are pretty great. This Pasarin guy ought to get a lot of work of this issue."
