Green Lantern Corps #19

Green Lantern Corps #19

$5.00
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written by Peter J. Tomasi Art and cover by Patrick Gleason & Prentis Rollins
The pieces of the Sinestro Corps War are still falling as Guy is finally reunited with his lost love, Ice! And as Kyle Rayner tries to start his new life as a Green Lantern, Sinestro rings continue to empower new and deadlier forces in space.

"Not to be a broken record (seriously), but this issue’s ‘What’s Kyle going to do next?’ plot is COMPLETELY undone by the fact that he’s been starring in Countdown since, I believe, 1998. Without that albatross, though, this is a terrific follow-up to Sinestro Corps War, and still should be required reading for all GL fans, thanks to Peter Tomasi’s expert grip on the characters and Patrick Gleason’s always engaging and unique pencils. A slight knock against the art, as is becoming a theme for this book’s Sinestro chapters, is the six (SIX!) inkers on this issue, which damages the flow of the story slightly, and includes a panel where someone forgot to draw Guy’s face. So, little things."
