“THE EXTREMISTS” This is it, the final showdown between the X-Men and the terrorist branch of the Morlocks. But how can they win with Warpath and Hepzibah captured and Storm buried under a ton of debris? The future is at stake and it all centers on Magneto. But what role will the former Master of Magnetism play? Part 5 (of 5) Featuring Endangered Species Chapter 14 – Beast nearly sold his soul to science for a chance to cure the effects of M-Day. But when the rational arts fail him, he turns to the mystical arts and Doctor Strange!

"Yay! No more Morlock stories! This ill-advised arc wraps up and sets the stage, a little awkwardly, for next month’s Messiah CompleX (according to the writers you’re supposed to capitalize the second x) “everything you’ve ever known about the X-Men changes forever and ever” event. The art works better than on newuniversal, the writing is a little less expository than the last couple parts… yeah, a solid finish."
