Michael Avon Oeming does a passable job hitting all the Spidey wisecracks and knows his Kulan Gath backwards and forwards, so the story reads quickly and easily. Too bad the art trips it up. Mel Rubi’s a good artist, but the lack of an inker really exposes his art’s flaws. I suppose it doesn’t matter too much, though: you all clicked 'BUY' the second you saw that Michael Turner cover, right?
