VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written by Tony Bedard, pencils by Paul Pelletier.
"The New Exiles," part 1 of 2. Snikt, to the sixth power! With the Exiles fired, it's time for a new group of dimension jumping heroes. Wolverine has always been known as the best there is at what he does, so six Wolverines must be really really good at what they do! Can the Exiles get their jobs back from these scene-stealing Canucks? Don't bet on it!
BONUS REVIEW by W. DAL BUSH
Wow, a ton of Wolverines! That must be a blast of a comic! How could it not be?! I'll tell you how in 3 simple words: Tony. #$%@ing. Bedard. There's no idea that he can't run through Dr. Bedard's Amazing Mediocrity Processor to get a bland, boring comic out of it. Like every other issue of his Exiles, a comic once known (thanks to other, better writers) for its crazy stories and off-the-wall concepts. This month, he takes a can't-miss gimmick (Marvel Zombies Wolverine and Origin Baby Wolverine!) and just sucks all the possible humor and fun out of it for a by-the-numbers superhero comic. Y'know, the kind you've read a couple hundred times by now. So why read this one, too? Hell, why WRITE it? 5 Grahams
