Fables #49

$4.00

VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
Written by Bill Willingham, art by Mark Buckingham and Steve Leialoha, cover by James Jean.

Concluding the 2-part "Wolves." After more than a year of searching, Mowgli has lost Bigby's trail. So what does a great hunter do when he's run out of leads, clues and anything resembling rational evidence? He makes a wild guess, of course. But has he made a fatal mistake, causing the hunter to become the hunted?
BONUS REVIEW by W. DAL BUSH
Good lord, it feels like I review this book every month. Wait... I DO review this book every month! That's the downside of doing these early reviews: we really don't get sent that many previews, especially from DC. They've got 16 titles coming out this week (not counting reprints and trades) but we only get seven... virtually the same seven we get every month about this time, like Fables, American Virgin and Cartoon Network books. That's why you never see us preview books like All Star Batman or 52; they don't send them to us. So, you're going to read reviews of Fables forever. Speaking of which, this is still awesome. I rate it 9 Grahams (out of 10)
