Walking Dead #64

Walking Dead #64

$20.00
VERY FINE/NEAR MINT
story ROBERT KIRKMAN art & cover CHARLIE ADLARD & CLIFF RATHBURN
THE HUNT CONTINUES! They’ve never been in more danger.
BONUS REVIEW by JOHN ROBINSON

This here issue is a perfect example as to why reading a MONTHLY comic is better than WAITING and reading it in collected form. In last months issue (last issue spoiler alert!) Dale awakens to find he's been captured by the Hunters that we've seen in the last few issues. To make matters worse he discovers that they're cannibals and they're eating his last good leg....end with cliffhanger. In comic form you wait a month, you think about his predicament, you can't see how this can possibly be a good thing, plus Dales been a bit of a dick recently anyway. Anyway, you ponder on it. A month later THIS ISSUE (#61) comes out, tables are turned and it's bloody spectacular. Read it in a TPB form and all the tensions and suspense is gone as you simply flip the page to see what's really happening with a whole 2 second pause between the previous page. Reading THE WALKING DEAD (soon to be a TV show on AMC, soon meaning probably in 2011) every single MONTH. Don't wait for the trades.
I give it 10 out of 10 Grahams
