Part 3 of “The Great Fables Crossover”! The Literals – an extended family of characters who literally embody literary notions. It's also possible that one of them may have created all of the Fables plus their universe, unbeknownst to the Fables.

BONUS REVIEW by Stephen Banas

What a fantastic event this Great Fables Crossover is turning out to be! In this first issue of The Literals we get a prime look into Kevin Thorn’s world as he attempts to re-write the entire Fables universe forever. With a severe case of writer’s block, Kevin calls on the most popular genres of the world to help him construct his masterpiece but quickly finds out, comically I might add, that each is much too narrow minded to help him with this daunting task. Meanwhile Bigby and the gang are hot on Thorn’s trail, but the crafty writer has some tricks up his sleeve to deal with that. Coming from the same creative team as Fables, this book looked stunning and read just as smooth. HIGHLY recommended along with all the other Fable crossover titles!
I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
